Hi! Here’s the quick and tasty chicken gravy recipe!
Chicken dishes makes Sunday a perfect one! And here I have
shared a chicken gravy recipe to make your day even more tastier! This is quite
a simple recipe. When making dishes with chicken make sure you clean the
chicken properly and marinate with lemon and turmeric for atleast 10-15 minutes
to get rid of the raw smell. Happy cooking! Cheers!
Ingredients:
To dry roast and grind
Red chilli – 6
Coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
Pepper – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Sombu – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 2 inch piece
Cloves – 2
Cardamom – 2
Coconut – ½ cup
For Gravy
Chicken – 300 grams (cleaned and marinated with turmeric and
salt)
Oil – 1 tbsp preferably sesame oil
Mustard – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Clove – 1
Cardamom – 1
Small Onion – 20
finely chopped
Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Tomato – 2 finely chopped
Mint leaves – 1/2 cup finely chopped
Coriander – 1/2 cup finely chopped
Water – ¼ cup
Salt
Method
2. Add onion and fry till the raw smell of onion goes then
add ginger garlic paste, fry till raw
smell goes
3. Add tomatoes and let it cook for 2 minutes.Now mash them,
so that you get a thick gravy consistency.
4. Now add chicken, turmeric powder, mint leafs and salt to
taste. Close with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes.
5. To the cooked chicken add the ground paste and little
water to adjust the consistency.
6. close with lid and cook till the oil floats/ oozes out.
7. Add fresh coriander leafs and serve with hot rice/ roti
